Bob hosted a great event as expected. For me, the attendees were made up with more common faces and TWJKD seasoned practitioners. This allowed Ted Wong to teach at a high level (as Bob and Bill had mentioned). Even those I knew were first time attendees were humble and seasoned martial artists. Great crowd.
I mostly worked with our very own Paul Bax on the first day. My ribs hurt from his shovel hook and jaw recovering from his cork screw punch. Sifu Wong saw the jaw shot and was impressed…hahaha…Bax made up for it by giving me some cool Brotherhood stickers (nice) Bill Mattuci has great mechanics. I held the pads for him and each one of his punches were done nearly effortlessly but the impact was incredible. The second day was spent mostly with Robert Kerbo and Mike Rutter. Kerbo had great structure, footwork, powerful and fast punches. He shared with me some great information on footwork including how to improve my kicking power. Mike Rutter is a writer (gave me one of his novels), long time martial artists with many accomplishments including being a long time student of TW. He told me of some experiences from his past trainings with Sifu Wong and showed me a few things . I met Mike Sheng for the first time. A true gentlemen.
Good time had by all.
